Who we are :

Clare Hyre

Clare Hyre grew up in Lexington, Virginia and has lived in Philadelphia since November 2010. She also attended Guilford College in Greensboro, NC and studied Peace & Conflict Studies and Religious Studies with a minor in Quaker Studies. She has been working on farms across the country as an apprentice and farm educator and currently works as the Education Coordinator for the Henry Got Crops! CSA located at W.B. Saul Agricultural High School. Clare also works as a garden educator at Bartram’s Garden and at farmer’s markets throughout the city.

Rania Campbell-Cobb

Rania Cambell-Cobb grew up in Cape Elizabeth, ME and moved to Philadelphia, PA in 2009. She attended Guilford College in Greensboro, NC where she studied Environmental studies and Sociology with an Economics minor. She has been farming and educating for over many years and is currently a farm to table educator for Greener Partners as well as a landscape manager at Guild House West, a senior housing center for low income residents.  Rania loves biking, building, and lobsters!

  1. Hey! I Think your rooftop idea is really a great way to use space that would otherwise go unused. I am interested in farming honeybees and rooftops are some of the best places to have the hives. I was interested if you would be willing to let me place a few hives on the roof?

      Thanks for the interest in hives on the roof. There is actually already someone using the roof for hives currently. If they ever decide to remove their hives I’ll let you know,
